When you enroll in Verified by Visa and use your debit card for
an Internet purchase at a participating merchant, a window
appears requesting your password — like a PIN you enter
during a face-to-face transaction. After you enter your password,
the information is authenticated and the transaction is submitted
to Bank Iowa for authorization.
